Lincoln Heights Christmas Parade May Be Canceled

Lincoln Heights might suffer a loss of it's 8th annual Christmas Parade. The reason for this is because its meeting financial problems. Another reason is because it should of started on the permit for this event two months earlier. ED. Reyes supports the Christmas parade and wants this to happen. Some oppose it but it not final on what the decision is.

I believe it should of have started it's fun raising earlier so they wouldn't have to deal with financial problems. Another thing they should have done is started the permit for this event earlier so it can get it before the event occurs. Lincoln Heights should get it's parade since it's annual and if it doesn't occur a lot of people are going to be disappointed.

Meg whitman vs. Jerry Brown debate

Meg Whitman wanted to create more jobs by creating more businesses to make them thrive and to make them into bigger businesses. Although Jerry Brown stated that he would only make the rich wealthier. Jerry Brown believes that the money Meg Whitman is going to use to make the rich wealthier is going to come out of school's budget. Although both Candidates bring up good points it's a another tough decision for America to make when it comes to choosing the right Governor.

Suspended for a nose piercing?

Ariana Lacono was suspended for a nose piercing which i find unjust. Suspension is not the right move to make since it leads to student missing days of school. Being absent in school pulls you back from learning and adds more work to your school life which i know no student wants. The School went overboard with its days of suspension just for a piercing. I would understand if it was a fight or anything to do with harming another student but a nose piercing does none of those so it shouldn't have a consequence near suspension. Her school should respect her ways of expressing her religion since it does not involve harm to anyone and since its on the first amendment which states the freedom of religion.
